Chilaquiles
Ingredients
- 10 small corn tortillas
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil for frying
- 2 large tomatoes, cut into thin wedges
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 1 green chili, chopped
- Salt, to taste
- Cumin, to taste
Directions
- Cut tortillas into small squares.
- Heat oil in heavy-bottomed skillet and fry tortilla squares briefly; drain well.
- In saucepan, combine fried tortilla, tomatoes, onion, garlic, chili, salt, and cumin
- Sauté for about 5 minutes and serve.
