Stovetop pecans that taste fabulous on top of any salad!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pecans
  • 3 Tbs unsalted butter
  • 3 Tbs brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions

  • Add butter to a large skillet over medium-high heat and allow to melt.
  • Add pecans and coat with butter. Cook for about 3 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds or so.
  • Stir in brown sugar, salt, cayenne pepper, and cinnamon.
  • Stir continuously for about 2 more minutes. Watch carefully, and when the pecans just start to smell toasty, pour out of pan into bowl to cool.
