  • Apply a combination anti-bacterial formula (Neosporin or Polysporin) to bacterial skin infections; terbinafine (Lamisil AT) or tolnaftate (Tinactin) to fungal infections

  • See a doctor

    Except for common infections such as a cold, see your provider for help determining the cause and best treatment for your infection

  • Take a multivitamin

    Extra vitamins and minerals daily may help prevent deficiencies that increase your chances of getting an infection

  • Reduce stress

    Work with a counsellor or with tapes and other self-help tools to reduce stress, which can impair your immune system

  • Ask about anti-biotics
