Carpal Tunnel Syndrome: Main Image

Although homoeopathic substances listed in this article are generally not known to cause serious side effects, their effectiveness has not been demonstrated by scientific research. Consumers should check labels carefully, since a homoeopathic product that is not diluted, or not diluted enough, may contain ingredients that cause allergic reactions, side effects, or interactions. It is always advisable to discuss any new treatment program with your healthcare practitioner.

For more information, see Homoeopathy FAQs, "What Is Homoeopathy?," and “Using Homoeopathy with Professional Guidance” in Homoeopathic Medicine.

Carpal tunnel syndrome is a condition of the forearm and wrist that comes from overuse or stress, causing nerve compression that leads to weakness, pain, and restricted movement. Working at a keyboard, typing, carpentry, and other tasks that require repetitive motions of the wrists and hands are common causes. Sensations of numbness, tingling, and burning may be felt, and pain or weakness can affect the arm and neck. Homoeopathic remedies often help to relieve discomfort and limitation.
