Barbera

Barbera: Main Image

Most widely planted in Italy’s Piedmont region, this versatile red can range from medium-bodied tangy cherry quaffer to wines of great richness and depth. With naturally high acidity (which refreshes the palate), this makes an excellent wine to serve with food.

Flavor Descriptors

Blackberry, plum, and dark cherry fruit flavours dominate, with notes of liquorice, chocolate, and freshly tilled soil.

Traditional
