For an out-of-the-ordinary grilling experience, try these Asian-inspired pork chops.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless center cut pork chop, 1 1/2-inch thick
  • 2 cups dry white wine , or distilled vinegar
  • 1/2 cup green onions, sliced
  • 4 Tbs fresh ginger, minced, or 1 tablespoon dry ginger
  • 2 Tbs soy sauce
  • 2 Tbs sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients in a plastic self-sealing bag; seal bag and refrigerate 2-24 hours. Remove pork from marinade; discarding marinade. Grill chops, over indirect heat in covered grill, for 12-15 minutes, turning once until internal temperature on a thermometer reads 160° F.

Serving Suggestion: These grilled chops go great with the bounties of the summer garden. Serve with grilled corn on the cob, coleslaw, fresh tomato slices with basil, and icy watermelon slices.
