With a solid background in medical 3D printing, Huaxiang experts have been able to quickly develop, optimize and validate safety goggles within 10 days, and produce thousands of pairs of products using the Farsoon 403P production polymer systems. The main goggle frames are produced with Farsoon FS3300PA material, which offers good strength and durability; the sealing rings are made with LUVOSINT TPU material from LEHVOSS, with excellent elongation and flexibility, which ensure a better fit and improved sealing protection compared to traditional PC material.

On March 18th, the first batch of 1000 sets of 3D printed medical safety goggles were donated to the Red Cross Society of China. At the end of March, a second batch was produced and donated to domestic and overseas countries. Last week, Farsoon was contacted by an Italian hospital requiring safety goggles and, with the help of Italian service bureau Prosilas Rapid Prototyping, they will be produced locally with LUVOSINT TPU material from LEHVOSS.

Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) is an endogenous fatty acid amide made inside the body when necessary. It is also a member of the extended endocannabinoid family and ligands at non-cannabinoid peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors. Since its discovery in 1954 there have been a good amount of studies aimed to demonstrate its role in a variety of biological functions related to chronic pain and inflammation.

PEA has been used in several controlled studies focused on the management of chronic pain among adult patients with different underlying clinical conditions. Some of these studies can be viewed here or in a recent scoping review available here. These are only a selection from the broad research done on this fatty acid amide.
