Dietary supplements containing D-Biotin (also known as Vitamin B7 or H) are very popular around the World. Beauty from within formulations very often include Biotin with D-Biotin being used the most, as it is believed to be the biologically active form of Biotin.
Within our LEHVOSS Essentials range we have a high-quality form of D-Biotin powder, produced from solvent-free extraction and normally in stock.
Biotin is one of the B complex vitamins that helps the body convert food into energy and is backed by several EFSA Health Claims, whilst also having scientific evidence to support its health benefits.
Our D-Biotin powder has a minimum of 97.5% D-Biotin. With an RDI of 50 µg per day, only a small amount is needed for supplementation and to benefit from the EFSA Health Claims such as contributing to normal functioning of the energy-yielding metabolism, nervous system, psychological function and also maintenance of mucous membranes, normal skin and hair and normal macronutrient metabolism.
Not only this but research into D-Biotin further supports the benefit of this nutrient with regards to hair and nails1,2 as systematic reviews have identified that patients who received Biotin reported improvements after receiving supplementation.
